Something so rare, so beautiful, and so genetically remarkable that it challenges everything we thought possible. Today, we introduce 1886 MONA LISA. Named after the most recognizable masterpiece in the history of the world, this breathtaking TRUE BLACK heifer may very well be the finest Texas Longhorn calf ever born. HER DAM — HR RESCUED. At an astonishing 113 inches TTT, HR Rescued is the definition of perfection. Magnificent twisted horns, breathtaking femininity, extraordinary height, and the elegance and grace of a champion thoroughbred. She is not simply a great Longhorn cow. She is the standard by which greatness should be measured. HER SIRE — JEST A COWBOY. The spectacular TRUE BLACK phenomenon. At over 100 inches TTT, Jest A Cowboy stands in a class of his own — the longest-horned true black Texas Longhorn bull in the world and, to our knowledge, the only true black bull to surpass the legendary 100-inch threshold. Power. Presence. Color. Horn. Genetics. THE BEST OF THE BEST. And now, these two extraordinary bloodlines have come together to create something that words can barely describe. 1886 MONA LISA. True black. Breathtaking beauty. Impeccable pedigree. A genetic masterpiece. We have spent years pursuing the finest genetics in the Texas Longhorn industry, searching for that elusive combination of horn, conformation, color, femininity, and undeniable presence. We believe we may have just witnessed the birth of our greatest achievement. History will determine where Mona Lisa ultimately stands among the legends of this breed. But today, looking at this extraordinary little heifer, we believe we are witnessing the beginning of something truly historic. Leonardo da Vinci gave the world one Mona Lisa. More than 500 years later, 1886 Cattle Company proudly introduces another. Some masterpieces are painted. OTHERS ARE BORN. 🖤 1886 MONA LISA 🖤
